We have made the most of it and been out sketching ...
and learning about creating a pond, with Tim the Ranger! 
The school council worked with an architect - Mr Yates - and came up with some fab ideas for the pond and wildlife area. He included a lot of the children's ideas.
On the day of the dig, Mrs Kineavy marked out the pond with spray ... and some of the children's designs with rope.
Then Miss Blackburn started to dig!
Okay, Miss Blackburn didn't really dig, just scraped a bit of grass really! The real digger driver had to take over!
He worked hard and we watched! Five foremen and one worker?!
Mr McClure did a fab job and has saved everyone else a lot of hard work.
